EducDesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.7


EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 2, 2006 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.7 | build 6A0616). The wiki manager offers a completely new paragraph editor and a new hierarchical menu viewer. It is now possible to import files in various formats incluing RTF, Microsoft Word and Excel (if your server offers the OLEFA office XT). Text and media paragraphs can be transformed into each other. Further imporvements include new 'newspaper' and 'personal page' basic wiki types, a new statistics export feature, quickly accessible layout options and more. The webbook manager offers a new text editor, a completely renewed entrance screen, a new search engine and a new backup architecture. The 'pages' screen now also allows to individually add, move and delete couples of pages. OLEFAdesk offers an improved window rendering engine, new and improved file and directory management features as well as some interface enhancements. The administration tools offer a new and improved entrance screen as well as new backup and temporary object clearing features to reduce the system load. Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.





EducDesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.8


OLEFA 1.5.8 is a service release that fixes a number of known bugs and prepares the system core for upcoming new features. There are no major new features in this release.





EducDesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.9


EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 4, 2006 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.9 | build 6D0314). The new OLEFA Storyboard module allows to create and publish online comics. Users can create and modify virtual characters called "OLEFAbots" and use them inside threir online stories. The new OLEFA sound recorder allows to record sound in your browser and to send the recorded track on the server. The OLEFA webbook now supports the new OLEFA sound recorder so that users can record their voice directly within an online book. It is now also possible to print an entire webbook at once (all pages) and webbook statistics are generated automatically. The new spellchecker now supports up to 70 languages, offers much better results and makes suggestions. The new translator feature allows to translate texts (english, german and french) within the wiki manager. The wiki manager now offers a new "print" mode that allows to print entire pages or single paragraphs, to double the line height and to check the spelling. The OLEFAdesk schoolmanager module now offers a math trainer (beta version for testing purposes). Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.





EducDesign SA releases OLEFA 1.5.10


EDUCDESIGN, Bettembourg, Luxembourg - 5, 2006 - EducDesign SA today released their latest version of the OLEFA software (version 1.5.10 | build 6E1114). OLEFAdesk offers three new applications: OLEFAalbum (view and manage image/photo albums), OLEFAmovie (view movies over the web) and OLEFAsound (record and play noises, voices and sound). The OLEFA sound recorder is now also supported by the storyboard and the wiki manager. The new OLEFAscript 'bot' command now allows to use OLEFAbots anywhere on your site. OLEFAbots can now also be used in wikis and webbooks. This release also features a first implementation of the administration AJAX server which allows faster user searching. Most other modules have been updated at the same time and offer new features to administrators and users, bugfixes, improvements and code enhancements. The new release will be installed on all customer servers within the next few days.
